MR. MVMNT’S Serengeti Sunset

A Lesson in Routine

10 Hours, 100 Hours, 1000 Hours, I commit fully everytime. It urks me at the thought of selling out, or half-assing a project because “That’s All It’s Worth”. Fuck that. It’s worth everything. A Doomed Movement reminds me that giving all that I got, is the only way I can truly be satisfied. And that’s what makes me different.

Watch a Shortened Timelapse Here.

This Mural project was well over 100 hours of solely painting, not including drawing, meetings, driving, all that shit. It reminds me that routine habits are the foundation for a successful life. What really fueled me for this one though was painting for a child whose whole future is in front of them. I get to help shape that future in the slightest way by bringing art and imagination early into their life. An honor. It’s why I’m here on this planet. The pressure to do well is always lingering.

But my hosts relieved that pressure through their unwavering kindness, understanding, and hospitality. Eating home cooked meals after every paint shift really helped me keep on going. It’s the small things. So thank you  immensely for this one. I’m humbled every step of the way.
Stick Around, Get Stuck Folks. Onward.

I basically just kept coming back for the homemade meals…

Major thank you to the Joshi’s for being the most hospitable hosts, and allowing me to add art into your home.
